'If only someone could tell them...if only someone planted more trees.. if only..whatever!"
I was deeply humbled and inspired to know of Mr. Pradip Shah's incredible initiatives that are not only revolutionary but ideally heart touching.
He found CRISIL in 1987 which rates companies for its qualitative excellence, the company is a global pioneer that is now the holy grail for ratings and reviews across the world.
In 1990, the Israelis had a rather unique way of honoring Mr. Pradip. They planted a garden of 100 trees. This gesture made a deep impact on Mr. Pradip who went on to form 'Grow Trees' - An initiative aimed at promoting a truly natural way of life' Grow Trees helps one to gift a tree to their beloved just by making a nominal payment of 85 rupees.
By virtue of his entrepreneurial brilliance, Mr. Pradip has played a key role in addition of at least 16 lac trees across the country. It is another story that he vibes like a humble youngster full of poise and dreams.
Within the same humility, the Harvard graduated, economic savvy entrepreneur also takes a personal initiative to write a 2 page letter to Shri Narendra Modi, just like that.
Among the many other shining jewels in his much ornate cap, Pradip Shah is also credited with being a revolutionary force in making HDFC the world class Indian bank that it is today.
Amazing how some people master the art of time management and be extraordinary in all they do! What a virtuous leader this man, take a deep bow sir, Pradip Shah, you are an absolute inspiration and your legacy will be felt for a long time.

Bryan Adams is definitely the last rockstar we know. Notice how beautiful the people are feeling in the video and compare that to the scenes we find these days (wait, don't for godsake).
That entry in the beginning though!
I remember ho
I remember how sporadically this scene happened in 2013 - it was lunch break and there were speakers in the basketball court for some reason, someone started a song and boom, a flash ,mob just like that.
The Bangalore dude became popular after his book, ‘How I Braved Anu Aunty & Co Founded A Million Dollar Company’ became a national best seller in 2012. The book envelops the story of his first startup, ‘Alma Mater’.
The book has a very easy going vibe as the author details his entrepreneurial adventures and misadventures like he’s having a very casual talk with the reader. A literature expert may discern it but the typical youth will swear by the simplistic story that is inspiring while it's fun.
It is colossal how many of his followers on Facebook have attributed their business initiatives to Varun Agarwal and the book. It is that good, and quirky too. It is easy to point that Varun’s usage of hyper local slang is an absolute game winner.
He has since thrived on many a challenges, founding other enterprises, becoming an angel investor et al. And now, Nitish Tiwari’s (Director of the movie Dangal) statement that he’s going to make a movie about the book has made us all stand up and take note.
Quite clearly, such an inspiring script with a refreshing story from a legendary director like Nitish Tiwari is going to set the ball rolling in many a movies of this genre coming out. This one though should take the cake for all its quirky madness.
One wonders who plays the role of Anu Aunty, though!
