We all live in a world which is technologically being updated each and every minute. Nowadays we rarely need manual operations to perform certain tasks. Automated vehicles are one such category. Here are some smart and simple solutions for safe driving.
The main cause of accidents in night driving is due to the dazzling effect of light from opposite vehicles which blinds the driver. As per studies conducted, it is found that during night time driving, the head light glare from opposite vehicles could make you blind. Even after the source of the glare is removed, an after image remains in the retina of the eye which creates a blind spot. This effect is known as Troxler effect. This increases the driver reaction time which leads to serious road accidents. Adaptive Lighting System is a good method for safe and convenient night driving without the intense dazzling effect and aftermaths. It needs no manual operation for switching ON and OFF headlight/downlight (Bright/Dim) when there is a vehicle coming from the front at night. It detects itself whether there is light from the approaching vehicle or not. When there is light from the vehicle coming from the front, it automatically switches to the downlight and when the vehicle passes, it automatically switches back to the headlight. The operator can fine-tune the light detection sensitivity of this Adaptive Lighting System.
Rain sensing automated car wiping system uses rain sensor to detect rain and activate the wiper system. The rain sensor works on the principle of rain water completing the circuit. The remunerations of an automatic rain-sensing wiper system are most obvious during erratic shower or snowfall when a typical wiper system robotically switches on if such meteorological conditions are sensed. Many collisions are caused by driver distractions. Rain-sensing wiper technology allows the driver to activate the windshield wipers once, and then forget about them. The windshield wipers must be reactivated, however, if the vehicle has been turned off and re-started.
This indeed is one of the useful and safer inventions in the modern world.

Here we have this Calicut based Malayali lady who is on a mission to promote Calico, Calicuts own cotton cloth. Meet Ms.Anjali Chandran, whose passion towards entrepreneurship enabled her to kick off the Calicut-based handloom boutique start-up, Impresa. She, a Msc software engineer from BITS Pilani, is the only woman entrepreneur from India participating in Innovators Race 50, a competition conducted by Paris-based multinational IT firm Capgemini to treasure trove out the unsurpassed young entrepreneur.
By means of her start up Impresa, she is aiming at providing a life to the shrinking handloom industry in India. She has been concomitant with weavers from Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Her mission is to make Impresa a podium to uphold the homespun artisans, weavers, and all such local craftsmen by providing market exposure. The platform also aims to make these rare fabrics accessible to all around the world.
Anjali claims the birth of Impresa to be totally unplanned. She is an ardent traveler, travels during which she used to pick up running materials for salwar and suits. She decided to give it a shot when everyone started appreciating her choices and is then when the idea of impresa came to existence. Sometimes all we need is a brave heart to love the work we do and here we have a real life example depicting the same.

Women's quest for equality with men is a universal phenomenon. They dearth to have for themselves the same strategies of the amendment which menfolk have had over the epochs that take account of equal pay for equal work. Women are all the time more trudging en route for purviews which were formerly dominated by males.
Matunga Railway Station, near Mumbai, has grown into being India's First Railway Station downright run by women. Central Railway has taken a prodigious stride headed for women empowerment by signing up an all-female work staff at the station.
According to the reports, women have been manning the station in all effective manners through all the various departments present. A total of 30 women staffs, including 11 booking clerks, five RPF personnel, 7 ticket checkers, are working under the potent supervision of the station master Mamta Kulkarni."Our experience has been very smooth or says somewhat magical. In my career, spanning 25 years with the Railways I never thought of working with all women staff. We are working like a family and with a sense of responsibility and cooperation" said Ms. Kulkarni who embraces the glory of becoming the 1st women station master, in 1992 when she joined the Mumbai division.
Strides like these were engaged formerly when Railway Stations were controlled by women as a part of Women'sDay. The Central Govt plans to upsurge the sum of stations well-ordered by women as a part of women empowerment. As women still continue to remain perhaps the world's most underutilized resource, leaps like this can change the scenario of male domination.

Come meet Tania Sachdev, whose achievements have undoubtedly made India proud. She is a renowned Chess player who holds the FIDE titles of International Master (IM) and Woman Grandmaster (WGM).
When she was 6, when her mother Anju introduced her to the Game of strategy and Wits and then on, there was no turn back. She received her first international title at the age of 8. Her major achievements are the title of International Master in 2008 and Woman Grandmaster in 2005 along with numerous other prestigious awards.
Now married to a Delhi-based architect Viraj Kataria, she remains to be a chess presenter as well as a commentator. Women no more remain closed within the four walls of a house, instead, they are conquering heights on their own. Tania here proves an apt example for the same.
