When the whole world is running behind money, here is a man who gives us hope that humanity has not yet been extinct. Meet Sarbjeeth Singh whose urge to aid the society pressed him hard to set up a free canteen for cancer patients and attendees, drive a free funeral van for the deprived and organize regular blood donation camps to help Shimla's hospitals.
Sarbjeeth Singh, popularly known as Bobby Ji, started his work by offering the underprivileged to drive dead bodies free of cost. He has been organizing blood donation camps for 11 years now and has also begun a canteen for cancer patients, a couple of years ago as well.
Bobby Ji, who runs a small shoe business, is content with his earnings and is also extremely happy that his family supports him in all his philanthropic ventures. The people in Shimla call this good Samaritan, Vela Bobby as he spends all his time serving the community and fellow beings.
He is just an ordinary person and wants every person to be like him. His desire is that there should be much more Sarbjeeth, who are willing to uplift the poor and underprivileged. He has named his canteen Almighty Blessings as he believes that the almighty will bless those who do good and not those who just donate to religious institutions.
The man who has made selfless service the mission of his life strongly believes that the satisfaction one may not get in the biggest pilgrimage centers can be found in the service of those in need.
