Nothing ruins a good dinner night with your loved ones like the blood sucking mosquitoes. If you do not wish to have the mosquitoes on the guest list, or you are someone who is allergic to the few mosquito repellent coils and creams, we have just the right thing for you.
Try this simple mosquito repellent Mason jar. It is easy to make. You will not require much efforts and is easy on your pocket.
Here is what you need:
1-2 Lemon Wedges
1-2 Lime Wedges
A couple sprigs of Rosemary
Water (fill remainder of jar with water)
Active Ingredient: Lemon Eucalyptus oil (7-10 drops)
You can find Lemon Eucalyptus oil for 200 rupees at Amazon and I was able to pick up floating tea candles for about 50 rupees. A mason jar is easily available in your kitchen or in a super market for rupees 50 a piece.
This is a simple mosquito repellent that I whip up in minutes and place outdoors five minutes before we go to sit outside. The other common approach is to put Citronella in a mason jar and poke a hole in the top and feed a long wick through.
Stay away from the blood suckers. Have fun and your food in peace.
