disease I would like to call it as smart phone or social media
Dont be scared because I am not a doctor and I am not going to talk about any disease like dengue or typhoid but this disease I would like to call it as smart phone or social media disease. I would like to call it a disease as it is not helping our mind and body. A study shows we get distracted every 10-15 minutes. You might wonder how body??? Ask yourself this question how much of you people just because you had to play game or wasting time in social media and sleeping around 11-12 pm nights or also maybe latter than that. This means you are having less time sleep than 7-8 hours which is measured as not a good sleep.
I didnt mean we shouldnt use a smart phone or social media. I mean that you must reduce the usage of it by a large volume.
The problems we face:-
1. We are more interested to use phone or social media or play games rather than talking to people in front of us.
2. A study shows if we use social media during work hours it will minimum take 20 min for your mind to come back to the work state and so it is reducing your attention span.
3. We are ready to chit chat with people we dont know and tell our problem rather than talking to people who can solve problem.
4. Addiction Any addiction is bad unless it helps you mentally or physically.
5. When someone is talking or when you are going out, you talk with phone rather than people who is with you(I meant more usage of phone than talking to people)
Sometime I feel if when people call me out but use phone more than talking to me then I feel like saying why dont you go alone and why did you call me for going out with you if you are more interested in using phone. (If fell sometime most of us also feel the same).
1. I personally feel use phone or be in social media 30-45 minutes a day is enough or its too much. You may think if I am using for that less time its definitely yes. I some days use social media or smartphone less than that time. The world is not going to end just because you didnt use social media one day or two.
2. Never see social media for the first hour after you woke up as a science shows if you use social media for the first hour it will reduce 30% of your productivity. Just image what you could do with extra 30% productivity in work!!
3. Dont use phone unless you want to post pictures with your friends or family members in social media when there are around.
4. Observe your environment rather than using your smart phones or social media when you go out to a new place, it will make you feel more alive and vibrant.
What I would like to conclude if you feel this is not a disease then why most of the children and even adults are depressed. A science shows every 10 minutes a person is depressed. Once some I know told if you are depressed and continue using smart phone or social media and not talk about your problems, your depression will increase. The problem in this world is, we are developing new technologies which must help us but is it replacing love we had and also the time we used to speak with our loved ones. Nowadays people use Skype to talk to people when they can go and meet them. Dont you guys think we are not using technologies in the right way. If you think yes we are using it in the right way then why is there more gap between human after technologies or social media came. Just think how many people call and wish you for your birthdays before Whatsapp and Facebook and how many people call you now after the social media revolution started. I believe you will follow these thing and try to stop this disease and let the connection with the people who love and speak be better. Thanks for taking time and reading my message.
