If a kid is shy and quiet, he is forced to act bold and outgoing because society has thought us that to be successful and happy, one must be extroverted. Parents think its alienated to not mingle with people and to not talk much. The introverts are always forced to act like extroverts instead of acting like their own selves because it is assumed that being introverted is being anti-social when actually it is being differently social.
Imagine a place filled with extroverts, do you think that you would like it when everyone in the group wants to talk and no one wants to listen? Dont you think that it is the blend of the two that really creates the best place to live?
These days extroverts are considered better leaders in workplaces but the recent research shows that in certain circumstances introverts make better leaders! The extroverted leaders, almost without realizing become more dominant and they try to put their stamp on things while introverts give a chance for the employees to explore their imagination and tackle a particular problem in their own way.
Introverts usually dont think it is necessary to argue on something. They give up if you cannot understand what they are trying to tell because they think it is not right to force their opinion on you! Whenever they are made fun of, they ignore you. Not because they cant stand up for themselves but because they dont want to dig more into it and make it an issue. They do have views and opinions about everything in the world, which are intense and deep. They just dont think it is necessary to share it with the world. Which I think is not wrong at all.
Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Mark Zuckerberg, Emma Watson and many more are introverts. Do you think being introverted has stopped them from achieving something or being happy?
Introvertism is a part of the personality just as crucial as your gender or race. Energy, enthusiasm, excitement combined with being grounded, the ability to listen, strength and calm makes an Introvert. Let us try not to suppress or change them but instead allow them to bloom the way they are destined to.

I always believed that the full moon is supposed to bring werewolves and vampires out into the open. Did you know some people even believe that staring at the full moon could cause one to go mad! Well, some movies surely played a major role in making us believe that; if there were some weird things happening in the night, the moon was to be blamed! Poor moon.
I think many people still live in a bubble that the mystical powers of the full moon induce irregular behaviors, psychiatric hospital admissions, suicides, homicides, traffic accidents, dog bites and cause all such strange events. It is time to burst that bubble you live in and enlighten you with the fact that the full moon doesnt make people go crazy. It is a myth! The truth is we are just being paranoid and superstitious about this.
The full moons hypothetical effects on the behavior of humans arise from its influence on water. It was believed that perhaps the moon somehow disrupted the alignment of water molecules in the nervous system because the human body is about 80 percent water.
The gravitational effects of the moon are far too minute to generate any significant effects on brain activity, let alone behavior. The moons gravitational force affects only open bodies of water like the oceans and lakes; the contained sources of water, such as the human brain wont be affected. The gravitational effect of the moon is just as potent during new moons, when the moon is invisible to us, as it is during full moons!
Historians believe that the brightness of a full moon may have disturbed peoples sleep schedules; it causes strange behavior due to sleep deprivation.
So, the full moon isn't causing all the mini gravitational tides in our watery bodies it is the extra light that is messing with our heads!

Introverts will give you one on one attention and expect the same too. They usually don't speak, but when they do, they demand complete attention. These are the people who know you more in depth than anyone else. They'll analyze your behavior quietly and also keep their opinion to themselves!
Never be too hard on an introvert by asking questions which they don't think are necessary to be answered. It might be any questions which make them uncomfortable, like why don't you speak up and be social? Why aren't you opening up? Why are you so mysterious!? Trust me it makes them want to distance themselves from you.
Recent study has discovered that introvertism isn't simply a personality trait, it is a nervous system setting. So this is how their brain is designed so don't expect them to be like you or someone else whom you think is normal!
Please offer them other options other than a call. Most of them try to avoid calls, a text would be preferable. They need time to process their thoughts, they will never reply by taking random decisions and so calling isn't a good idea!
When they are tired they need enough rest (sleep) until they regain their drained energy.
Please be kind to them, they are often very harsh on themselves. They'll appreciate kindness more than anything else. Please give them some guilt free time.

We all like the feeling of being successful, dont we? Of course, we had put in our blood, sweat and tears into achieving it so we deserve to feel the pleasure it brings along! Now let us focus on something which comes after achieving success, alright? Something like the feeling of fear! Yes, it does exist. It is called the Impostor Syndrome!
Success isnt always about sunshine and butterflies, sometimes it brings along self-doubt with it! Some people who suffer from Impostor Syndrome struggle to incorporate within ones self any kind of praise or accomplishment. It apparently cannot be perceived as a mental disorder but can be considered as a reaction of a person to certain situations. There are times when they feel that they lack certain skills and would also wonder if they belonged there at all in the first place. Also, they often attribute their accomplishments to luck rather than to the ability they own. A fear that others will eventually unmask them as a fraud usually persists!
If this syndrome is not addressed, one can develop anxiety, stress, low self-confidence, depression and self-doubt. Cognitive behavioral therapy is one of the ways to treat this condition.
Overcoming the Impostor Syndrome requires self-acceptance. You dont have to attain excellence to be worthy of the success you have achieved. It is okay not to be Albert Einstein to become a valuable talent to your organization or to those around you!
Remember that it is not necessary to attain perfection to share something with the world that would in some way enrich peoples lives!

Are any of you tired of listening to success stories? Successful products, successful services and the successful people who'd make them happen?! How would you like to read something like a failure story? Something like the products which were an absolute disaster! Everyone admires something which is successful but The Museum of Failure at Sweden says that there are many things to learn from failure to innovate something new!
This little gallery has an abnormal mission of not just portraying failure as something depressing but as a monument to innovation! The Donald Trump board game, The Google Glass, Twitter Peek, the Bic pen for her, Harley-Davidson perfume, Sony Betamax and the Apple Newton, a handheld device from back in the day when Apples logo was rainbow-colored, these are some of the product failures to learn from. It features about 70 different failures which are mostly products, but some of them are services too.
The idea of feeling comfortable enough to make mistakes within a group setting, like asking a stupid question or voicing criticism when everyone else is on board is a vital part of creativity and innovation. If no one says anything all we can get is disasters. If one cannot deal with the uncomfortable emotional content of failure, then its impossible to learn from it. This is the main idea put forth by museums director Samuel West.
This museum focuses on developing an organizational culture that accepts failure so that you can fail small rather than failing big.
