After an ad was posted in the Kansas City Star about their unique situation, the response from the public has been overwhelming. It was reported that their voicemail system has received hundreds of messages - their email inbox has been flooded with 1,500 responses.
This is a viral response .. and its pretty insane, said Corey Lada of the Kansas Childrens Service League, which contracts with the state to run AdoptKSKids.org. In 13-plus years of working here Ive seen nothing like this. Nothing.
The kids are active in church and have hobbies ranging from hip-hop dance, to collecting Pokemon to soccer and tether ball, the Star reported. They are currently in foster care while the state works to find them a permanent home.
As described in the ad, The siblings -- Bradley, 11, Preston, 10, Layla, 8, Landon, 6, and Olive, 2 -- have different talents and interests that offer a brief glimpse into their little personalities.
They sound like the best possible group of kids we can understand why so many people have fallen in love. Now it's about keeping the kids together something that, hopefully, prospective families have in mind.
Let us hope the kid's wish comes true and tons of kids like Bradley, Preston, Layla, Landon and Olive find their dream homes.
