Google never stops amazing us. Google Maps has now entered the stratosphere that lets you explore the International Space Station.
This marks Street Views first foray into space and gives those of us who will likely never get to visit the ISS a chance to explore all of its 15 modules. In a blog published by Google, they announced that you can now explore the International Space Station with Street View.
Google tapped the services of European Space Agency Astronaut. Thomas Pesquet, who captured the photos of the station during a six-month stint. The new imagery lets you walk through the different modules. Google also uses this feature to help you move from one module to another. The Street View Google team worked with NASA and the Marshall Space Flight Center to come up with with this innovative idea for taking photos using DSLR camera and equipment already on the ISS, while in zero-gravity.
Though, its all about clicking through the imagery yourself, so head over to Google Maps and give it a try.
