Since we are not moving to Italy anytime soon to eat gelato recipes but you can try out this decadent and easy to prepare Italian dish in your home. There are variety of gelatos here you can learn basic gelato recipe this may be used for base of your favourite flavour.
How to prepare Gelato?
2 cup of milk
4 egg yolks
1 cup heavy cream
Take a medium saucepan, put milk and cream and mix them well. Warm that till foam forms around the edges.
In large bowl beat the egg yolks and sugar until foamy. Gradually pour the warm milk into the egg yolks, whisking constantly. Pour that mixture to saucepan; cook over medium heat. Stir until the mixture gels somewhat and quotes the back of the spoon. If small egg lumps begin to show, remove from the heat immediately.
Pour the mixture into a bowl. Cover, and freeze for several hours. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to your need. Finally the yummy gelato is ready to eat.
