My next stop had to be Agra, the city of love. The city has been known for its magnificent architecture and tradition. As all foreign tourists, I made my way to the famous 'Taj Mahal'. The white marble engineering is the symbol of love and eternity. It makes you believe in love. My journey to find the untold took me to this small cafe in the suburbs of Agra- SHEROES. I was fascinated by the staff that worked there. As soon as i entered the cafe I could see that the staff were first off all Female, and second everyone was a acid survivor. Now! My instincts obviously took me to the manager. When I asked him about the staff he said and i quote "Madam! We run this cafe for them only. We give them training and the confidence to walk around without covering their face. They are brave, just need that push. Please have a seat and see for your self". Okay! I said to my self. I sat down and ordered. The service was magnificent as well as the food. I walked out of there with pride and a sense of belonging. I vow to do something for people like them back home I said to my self.
Anybody else have had this epic sense of Oneness after visiting this place?
