There are however five ways to write a travel blog and make some money out of it:
1. Travel!! As silly as it might sound, you can not sit on your linen couch and write about Paris. The main intention here is to bring around the essence of the place and describe it in lamen terms, which in reality requires you to travel. What I'm trying to say is, plan your travel. Decide wisely, and execute it perfectly. Traveling is just not backpacking, whereas that is more adventurous than the rest. However, there are other ways to obtain your optimal content. Maybe a planned tourist trip can also help you add content to your kitty. Just Plan!!
2. Decide what you want to write about
we know travel, but what in travel is my question. For me? I would prefer to write stories of people I meet during my travel. For you? Get a hold of what you want. Find your calling, hold onto it and write away!It is important to research well before you decide which field you want to write about. Often choosing an interesting but non-passionate field can lead to problems in the future.
3. Get those details right
Now, what was the name of the street where you met the queen? Remember you are writing for an audience that is sitting in the luxury of their house and reading your adventures. write precise and write every detail possible. engaging an audience is tough, but creating content to engage an audience is relatively easy. Observe things that others will not observe, this will ensure you write about things others are not writing.
4. Click Pictures
Event if you are not a photographer, try and click a few pictures. Research conducted at the University of Illinois during the year 2009 shows that people tend to find content with pictures more attractive and readable comparatively. Pictures describe a lot more than you can, hence Click away!
5. Always complete your experience
Most travel writers do the rookie mistake of ending their story abruptly assuming that the audience will come back wanting more. whereas, this is a good marketing tactic I feel ending any story abruptly is just a waste of your talent. Give your audience everything they want and end with a conclusion.
All said and done, this alone will not guarantee you money. For other tactics and SEO techniques, you can always refer those other bloggers. I'm here only for credible tips.
